Biography AND talking points
MEMBER OF HAWAII ACADEMY OF RECORDING ARTS
HARA# 00-1951
I’m am eclectic singer/songwriter, multi-media geek, production junkie, lover of meaningful stories, multi-instrumentalist and looper artist.
I write acoustic soul bops, country songs, island radio tunes, melancholy folk music and cinematic ballads that turn the insides out and bring us back home.
I sing island acoustic soul with touches of folk and country. People most often compare me to Sammy J., Jack Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Willie K. and Stan Walker.
I’m from Hana, Maui, studied Music at Stanford University and am now based out of Hilo, HI. I’ve produced music for ABC and Sony in Los Angeles and have a day job in Tech in Utah.
I’m a husband, father of two children, and a Kanaka Maoli/Tongan/Filipino artist.
I’m releasing a song a month for the next year as my own personal project 12. It will serve as the basis for the next four studio albums I have in the works.
Mahalo for listening.
Life is beautiful.
